New year’s day is on it’s way! I’m really excited because my aunt was born New Year’s day so it is extra special. Because of this I have made *sigh* another outfit board. I’m just loving Polyvore lately and here is the outfit I would love to wear on New year’s day:

For the new year I feel I want something more flashy than a little black dress, hence, the little white dress. All these dresses I have chosen are ones that I feel will stand out on a day where many go over the top with glitter, confetti, crazy glasses and hats!

Los días festivos estan llegando muy rapido y tambien ¡llendo de
compras al último momento! Aqui esta el outfit y maquillaje de mis
sueños. Digo de mis sueños porque todavía necesito que ir de compras al
ultimo momento tambien, jajaja, quiero una falda con brillo y el Naked
3. Tambien necesito un nuevo saco negro porque el que tengo ahora es muy
viejo y se ve, es ora de retirar lo. Ya tengo tengo tacones negros y
joyas similares. Ahhh mi outift para navidad/o el ano nuevo de mis sueños...
My Xmas traditions include going to my grandmothers and grandfathers house where they host a big party with ponche and tamales. Yum! And we eat, laugh and just hangout until the clock strikes 12. Then at midnight we exchange gifts! Lol, it starts as a gift exchange but by the 24th everyone already found out who got who. :D When we arrive back home during the wee hours of the 25th my sisters and I open the presents are parent’s got us. (& they open what we got them)
Mis tradiciones de navidad incluyen ir a la casa de mis abuelos donde tienen una fiesta con ponche y tamales. ¡Mmm! Y comemos, reímos, y solo estamos juntos hasta que el reloj marca las 12. ¡A la media noche hacemos el intercambio de regalos! Jajaja, bueno al menos así empieza pero ya para el 24 todos saben quien agarró a quien. :D Cuando regresamos a la casa, en las primeras horas del 25, mis hermanas y yo abrimos nuestros regalos y nuestros padres los suyos.

There are so many amazing fall/winter tv shows and tv specials this year! (I can’t wait for The Sound of Music special with Carrie Underwood!) My favorite new shows by far are Reign and Once Upon a Time in Wonderland. I’m obsessed with the fashion and drama on Reign! I wish I could find such gorgeous (not to mention affordable…) headbands. And a reason to wear a beautiful gown like the ones Mary (Adelaide Kane) wears. Basically, Reign is always on my mind and Mary’s style… Yup, I started wearing the headbands I put away when gossip girl finished… :b

Speaking of Reign I’m also obsessed with Lorde’s song Royals (who isn’t?!) I’m glad we working class women have an anthem! I like how it puts are reality in the mainstream. I feel like it says “Hey, the reality you present; isn’t mine.” I count dollars all the time and try to make them stretch. I have a cup of noodle everyday for lunch (not complaining)
Lol, I’m obsessed with watching a show about royals and a song about being on the outside of royalty!
Hablando de Reign, estoy obsesionada con la canción de Lorde Royals (¿quien no?) Estoy muy feliz que ahora hay una canción para la mujeres trabajadoras! Me gusta como pone nuestra realidad en el “mainstream.” Siento como que dice, “La realidad que presentas… no es la mia.” Yo tambien, siempre estoy contando mis billetes y como sopa de vaso para mi almuerzo cada día (no estoy me estoy quejando) Ja ja ja, estoy obsesionada con un program de television sobre reyes y reinas, y una canción sobre estar viviendo una vida que es completamente diferente!

This contradiction made me think…. Why am I obsessed with Reign? Or Better yet, with watching a lifestyle I have never experienced and never will? It seems like I know every political reason for Mary to marry Frances. See every gown. In short I have seen this life visually but it is so opposite of mine. It’s hard for me to comprehend how I can be so committed to a show I should technically not be able to relate to… I think it’s the romance! I love the love triangles! (& squares, hexagons, stars!)
Esta contradiction me hizo pensar… Porque es que estoy obsesionada con Reign? O de ver un estilo de vida que nunca he vivido y nunca vivir? Se queda razón política para que Mary se case con Frances. Veo cada vestido. Estoy viendo esta vida visualmente pero es tan opuesto de mi vida. Es dificil para mi comprender cómo es que puede estar tan comprometida con un programa con la qual, técnicamente no debería poder relacionarme con… Creo que es el romance! Me encantan los triángulos de amor! (¡y los cuadrados, hexágonos, estrellas!)

It seems
like I keep buying and reviewing Physicians Formula products! I think I’m
obsessed! (I just made a review on another one of their products in August)

esta marca! (apenas acabo de escribir una critica sobre otro de sus productos

Anyway, a
few months ago I purchased one of their gel liner sets or “shimmer strips,” in Green
Eyes, and fell in love with it! (one package comes with 3) Soon after, this
product disappeared from the shelves in all my local drugstores, forcing me to
be on the hunt for them. Luckily I didn’t have to be on the prowl to long
because I spotted a set of two in my local Ross! It was such a good find
because the set cost less then a single was going for on Amazon. I bought them
and can’t stop using them, especially the Shimmer Strips in Glam Hazel Eyes.
Bueno, unos meses atrás compre uno de sus delineadores
de gel, o “shimmer strips,” en ojos verdes (un paquete viene con 3
delineadores) ¡y me enamore con ellos! Pero muy pronto después, este producto
desapareció de los estantes en todas mis tiendas locales, haciendo que vaya en
busca por ellos. No tuve que buscar por mucho tiempo, aunque a si se sintió,
porque encontré una colección de dos en mi tienda local de Ross! Era una muy
buena oferta porque los dos costaron menos de que un set se estaban vendiendo
