Zombie Apocalypse Fashion / Moda para un apocalipsis de zombies

Today is a very special day… Because this Sunday is the season finale of AMC The Walking Dead!! I really love this show, which says something because I’m so squeamish and I still watch the show even though it’s gory. So in honor of the season finale I’ve made a few style boards because even in a zombie apocalypse clothes are important, you know for survival and stuff…

Hoy es un día muy especial… Esto se debe a que este domingo es el ¡final de la temporada de AMC The Walking Dead!! Me encanta este programa, esto debe de decirles que bueno es el programa porque yo soy muy miedosa a la sangre y este programa puede ser muy sangriento. Bueno, en honor del final de esta temporada he hecho unos style boards porque hasta en un apocalipsis de zombies la ropa es importante, ustedes saben, para sobrevivir…

My clothing essentials / Mi ropa esénciale:

-Jacket / Chaqueta

-Combat boots / Botas de combate

-Jeans with stretch / Jeans que se estiren

-Patroleum Jelly / Vaselina

(for cuts & as chapstick, Para cortaduras y como bálsamo de labios)

-Towel / Toalla

(For when I need to get dry & to stay warm, Para secarme y mantener me caliente)

 

Weapon of choice / Arma que escogería:

-Crossbow / Ballasta

This is my weapon of choice because the ammunition is reusable. In a zombie apocalypse I think eventually bullets would run out and if I remember from a book I read in elementary, they are a pain in the to make. Also, this is a quite weapon and if AMC’s The Walking Dead has taught me anything it is that stealth is key because you need to look out for zombies and other desperate people trying to survive.

Este es mi arma de elección porque la munición es reusable. En un apocalipsis de zombies  creo que eventualmente las balas se acabarían y si recuerdo el libro que leí en la primaria son muy difíciles de hacer. También escogí esta arma porque es silenciosa y si AMC’s The Walking Dead me ha enseñado algo es que el silencio es clave porque tienes que protegerte de zombies y otras personas quienes estarán desesperados tratando de sobrevivir.
