2013 Recap?

I was recently reading one of my favorite blogs, Sprinkle of Glitter, when I got super inspired to do a similar post. On it, Louis did a recap of 2013 and I thought, “What a great post! I would really like to do that too!” But as I tried to remember the happenings throughout 2013, I couldn’t remember a thing! Where did 2013 go? Literally! I can’t remember anything from January or May… or most months. So here I go, trying to put together a year I can’t remember through my journal and social media.

Recientemente estaba leyendo uno de mis blogs favoritos, Sprinkle of Glitter, y me inspire mucho para escribir un post similar. En su post, Louis hizo un resumen de 2013 y pensé, “¡Que post tan maravilloso! ¡Me gustaría escribir uno semejante!” Pero cuando trate de recordar lo que pasó en 2013, ¡no podía recordar ninguna cosa! ¡Donde se se fue 2013! ¡Literalmente! No puedo recordar ninguna cosa de enero o mayo… o casi todo los meses. Entonces, voy a empezar a tratar de recordar el ano que no recuerdo con mi diario y los medios sociales.

 January is the month I remember the least of. But by looking at my blog’s month and year archive I realized I was in love with a different Milani concealer. I was also shocked to notice that I actually posted less this year than in 2012! This year I posted only 24 posts verses 42 last year!

enero es el mes que recuerdo menos. Pero en mirando el archivo de mes y ano de mi blog hice la realizacion de que estaba enamorada con otro Milani concealer. También estaba muy sorprendida cuando noté que ¡hago post mucho menos de que en 2012! ¡Este año solo hice 24 post comparado con los 42 del año anterior!

 February I didn’t post at all! I must have been very busy... Or very lazy, LOL!

febrero Este mes no publique ningun solo post! Debí de estar muy ocupada… O muy floja, jajaja!

March I seemed to have catched the blogging bug again and posted a shocking four posts! I had no idea I blogged so little… I really believed I blogged a lot more. :b

On the brightside side, this was also the month I found my most favorite lip balm. The Vaseline lip therapy minis, which I am still repurchasing, I just bought one a two weeks ago.

marzo fue cuando empecé a trabajar en mi blog mas y hice post cuatro posts! No tenía idea de que hacía blog tan poco… De veras creía que hacía blog mucho más. :b

Bueno, por otro lado este era el mes que encontré mi mas favorito bálsamo labial. El Vaseline lip therapy mini, que todavia estoy comprando, y apenas a cabo de comprar uno has dos semanas.

April was the month I shared two of my most favorite products, Covergirl Outlast Stay Fabulous 3 in 1 foundation and Secret Outlast 48hr deodorant. (Both of which have outlast in the name, coincidence? I think not.)  April… What was I doing in April? Well I was still working on completing my undergrad degree but I couldn’t go into more detail than that because I can’t remember!

(Los dos tienen outlast en el nombre, ¿coincidencia? Creo que no) Abril… ¿Que estaba haciendo en Abril? Bueno, todavia esta trabajando en completando mis estudios en el colegio pero no puedo ir en más detalle porque ¡no puedo recordar nada!

June is where I begin to remember! I’m very proud to say I graduated this month from college with my BA! It was the month my family went to DisneyLand but I could not go with them because of graduation practice… But here is the video I made on what they brought me back :D

¡junio es cuando empiezo a recordar! Estoy muy orgullosa de decir que ¡me gradue de la universidad con mi BA! Era el mes que mi familia se fue a Disneylandia pero no pude ir con ellos por que tuve que practicar para la graduación… Pero aqui les dejo el video donde enseño lo que me trajieron :D

July saw only one post on my poor little blog… but many fire works! And I remember the fourth of July vividly! My sisters and I had a renewed excitement for it this year. Here is a pic from Instagram.

julio vio solo un post en mi pobrecito blog… ¡pero muchos cuetes! ¡Y recuerdo el cuatro de julio muy bien! Mis hermanas y yo estuvimos muy entusiasmadas este año para este dia festivo. Aqui les tengo un foto de Instagram.

August I began working at an elementary school! I was very intimidated at first but I really love it now. This was also a great month for my blog as I posted not once, not twice but four times!

agosto ¡empecé trabajando en una escuela primaria! Tenía mucho miedo al principio pero ahora amo mi trabajo. También fue un mes genial para mi blog porque hice post no solo una vez o dos pero cuatro veces!

October was a month of only one post… But I remember things! Halloween was so much fun! Here are some pics! I gave out candy and it was an all around nice month.

octubre era un mes donde solo tuve un post… ¡Pero recuerdo cosas! ¡Halloween era muy divertido! ¡Aqui les tengo unos fotos! Di dulces y era un mes muy bueno.

November I remember a lot! Thanksgiving was this month, with the Thanksgiving break. I really needed this break from working, I remember feeling so tired this month, like all I did was work, work, work. But it was worth it, I had yummy raspberry pie and discovered the show Reign! noviembre sí recuerdo mucho! Era el mes del pavo, con vacaciones también. Necesitaba mucho estas vacaciones. Recuerdo sintiéndome muy cansada este mes, como que todo lo que hacía era trabajar, trabajar y trabajar. Pero valió la pena, me comí un tarta de frambuesas y descubrí el programa Reign! December came and went! I remember feeling like I couldn’t wait for xmas vacation and now we are on the last days of December! This was also my Bday month! I share a birthday with my lovely little sister Emily. (I joke that she was my present that year she was born on my birthday!) Want to see what I got for Christmas and my birthday? diciembre vino y se fue! Recuerdo sintiéndome como si no podia esperar mas para las vacaciones navideñas y ahora estamos en los últimos días de diciembre! Este también fue el mes de mi cumpleaños! Comparto mi cumpleaños con mi bella hermana más chica, Emily. (Me gusta bromear que fue mi regalo de cumpleaños el ano que nacio en mi cumpleaños!) September; so I get to December and realized I forgot September… But I do remember some things. It was my other little sisters Bday this month. She turned 15 to be exact. A very special birthday for hispanic/latino family’s. We through her a very big birthday party. She was such a beautiful quinceañera!

septiembre; Llegó a diciembre y descubro que se me olvido septiembre… Pero si recuerdo muchas cosas. Era el cumpleaños de mi otra hermana menor. Ella cumplio 15 anos. Un cumpleanos muy especial para familias hispanas/latinas. Le tiramos una fiesta muy grande. Era una quinceañera muy hermosa!
